Artwork Description:

This sculpture is a part of the exhibition "Huge Metallic Sculptures in spectacular palces". I wrote this to Mayor R. T. Rybak, Minneapolis. R. T. Rybak 350 South Fifth Street 331 City Hall Minneapolis, MN 55415 Dear Mayor R. T. Rybak, I am a Scandinavian artist. Today I have published the sculpture "The M in Minneapolis" as a part of my exhibition "Huge Metallic Sculptures in spectacular places". The sculpture has been exhibited today on the world's largest gateway to art ressources www. wwar. com, which is an online gallery situated in Columbus, Ohio. The background photo is made by Chris Gregerson, Digital Photography, Minneapolis from whom I have licensed the photo. The sculpture is made out of metallic tubes and has a hight of 100 feet. What you buy from me is the idea, the drafts and some experiences from building a huge metallic sculpture. I will recomend that the sculpture is built by the buyer in the buyers city by local entrepreneurs. The other sculptures in my exhibition is intended to be erected at Lincoln Center in New York, Louvre in Paris, Grand Place in Brussels, Beijing etc. A sculpture like this is a landmark, In one city it has even become the new logo. Sincerely, Asbjorn Lonvig, artist http://www. lonvig. dk
