Artwork Description:

Seeking rep to sell this piece, fifty thousand dollar commission. Coriscas gown is made of hand made mosaic tiles. These are cut from glass thin sheets of marble in various colors, and then sandblasted to soften the cut corners. Once attached, the whole surface is polished to bring out the color. A rough surface adheres better to the cement that holds the whole thing together, which is why they e not just thrown into a rock polisher. Ones hands smoothing over everything with sandpaper also gives softness to the cloth by taking off the points that stick out of the surface.
