Welcome to Taylor Hart's Portfolio.
In my recent work I strive to see past my camera equipment and focus on the experience during the exposure process rather than technical aspects of image making. Using Diana cameras create certain characteristics that I welcome in my artwork such as:
vignetting, light leaks, and distortion.
I now find myself taking these cameras out into nature where I feel a certain connection with the natural surroundings and objects that I photograph. The objects vary from articles of clothing, teacups, wreaths, clocks and empty chairs; objects that I associate with my past, only through further scrutiny do they reveal their larger meanings to me. My work is continually evolving as I move through the different stages of my life. ... |
