Welcome to Thore Kienscherf's Portfolio. Browse Kienscherf's body of work: I am a Korean-German artist, born in 1974 in Hamburg, Germany. In 2001 I started painting, learning in an autodidactic manner working with different styles and techniques. My way of painting has changed from a smooth style with emphasis on details towards a paste-like and freer way.
Consequently the paint is applied with a spattle, so I avoid getting lost in details and can give more alternatives of interpretation to the eyes of the viewers.
My model-pictures show my view on the sensuality of advertising pictures and fashion-photography. In my artwork the female models are dissociated ... |
