Usha Tsonkova's Premiere Artist Portfolio
Welcome to Usha Tsonkova's Portfolio. The art is an intimate exploration of my internal spiritual space-emotions,passions ,desires and experiences are mixed up as well the negatives and techniques on the paper.
The technical process is quaint –I use
very thin photo paper (which has been out of
production for ten years now) which gets crumpled in
the process of printing and tortured with various
concoctions of chemicals, the result of which are the
tawny-brownish, ocher and tan hues on purely
black-and-white paper without the use of any toners.
Thus every piece that emerges is unique, no editions
possible.
