Title: FIRE FLOWER Completed: 04/09/2013 Size 24 x 18 "Fire Flower" by Eve, 04/09/13 24" x 18" Liquitex Acrylic Colors - yellow ochre, cadmium yellow medium, cadmium yellow light, lemon yellow, orange, cadmium red medium, alzarine crimson and a different brand liquid opalescent white. Canson XL 150 LB press paper Bottom sheet is the background painted a very light beige with a opalescent white finish. One sheet of paper half painted a very light beige and half yellow tones. Another sheet of paper painted half red tones and half orange tones. The two colored sheets were then cut up into flame shapes. Each flame shape was positioned and varnished with liquitex acrylic gloss medium varnish. I essentially turned three paintings into one painting. FLASH - used during photography. there is a slight glare in this picture.
