This exhibition features the work of eleven mid-career and emerging photographers from Argentina. Although the
styles and subject matter vary among the photographers,
they share a common focus on the social and cultural issues of Argentina. The exhibition is curated by Anne Wilkes Tucker, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for Pan American Cultural Exchange, Houston (PACE).
The work in the exhibition ranges from the allegorial images of Gabriel Valansi and Martín Weber and social
documentary of Gabriel Díaz, Adriana Lestido, and Helen
Zout to enivronmental landscapes by Cristina Fraire and Marcos Zimmermann and street photography by Becquer
Casaballe, Eduardo Gil, Fernando Gutiérrez, and Marcos López.
