KING COUNTY PUBLIC ART PROGRAM

The King County Public Art Program is seeking a full-time collection coordinator to provide curatorial oversight and staff coordination for the on-going maintenance and conservation, public information and database records for King Countyís 1000+ piece civic art collection, as well as, the purchase and rotation of the Portable Works Collection. This position works closely with the programís Executive Director and four-member staff.
The successful applicant will have at least three years of visual art administration experience. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential for this job, as well as, a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary art and an understanding of public art issues.
