The SOUND ACCESS PROGRAMME is an educational programme which is designed to enable
peolple with disablities access employment and further training in music, entertainment , technical sound, engineering and communications industries throught the provisions of a series of linked modules and work placements. This programme was
developed by the REHAB GROUP which is the largest training organisation for people with disabilities in Ireland.
A SIMILAR MODEL, ART LINK, PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES IN THE VISUAL ARTS AND VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRIES.
THESE PROGRAMMES RUN FOR TWO YEARS AND STUDENTS WORK AND TRAIN WITH PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD.
THEY ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING AT BUILDING A NETWORK OF CONTACTS WITH SIMILAR ORGANISATIONS
INTERNATIONALLY.
