From 7 - 23 September 2000 MediaArt Friesland will be presenting another international exhibit in experimental media art.
There will be exhibitions of media installations by young, creative artists, held at the Theatre Romein and in the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden and in the Museum Smallingerland in Drachten.
Also video tapes and CD-ROMS will be shown.
Workshops will be held in Leeuwarden and Drachten, and an overview of tapes by Japanese media artists will be shown.
Entry rules
1.Time and place: Media Art Friesland will take place in Leeuwarden, Drachten 7 - 23 September 2000.
2.Selection: The production year of the submitted works must be 1998, 1999 or 2000. Each video or cd-rom must reflect both a sense of personal
enquiry and a high level of experimentation with the medium. The Programming Committeeâs decision is final.
3.Availability of the work: The media artist or the distributor of each work selected for the exhibit agrees to make the work available to the
organizer for the entire duration of the exhibit.
4.Authorization: The media artist or the distributor authorizes MAF to use and to print all information concerning the media artist and his/her
work for promotional purposes.
5.Archives: The media artist authorizes MAF to keep a copy of the submitted work. The work will be placed in the archives of MAF and will not
be made copied or transfered public without prior written consent of the maker.
6.Entry: A signed copy of the entry form as well as a screening copy of the work must arrive at the address below no later than June 30 2000.
