"Northwest Watercolor Society 60th Annual Open Exhibition: A Retrospective"

The Northwest Watercolor Society celebrates sixty years with an exhibtion jurored by nationally known painter Fran Larsen.
The show features members of all abilities, from total beginners to highly experienced professional painters. The artists also work in a wide range of styles, including traditional, transparent watercolor to
experimental paintings done with a mix of different water based pigments.
Membership in the Northwest Watercolor Society is open to
residents of the US and Canada. Any person or group may become an Associate Member upon
payment of annual dues. Application for Signature Membership may be submitted at any time after
having met the requirements of acceptance and exhibition in qualifying juried shows.
The Northwest Watercolor Society is one of the most active watercolor societies in the United States. It
is run entirely by volunteers. With over 850 members, they encourage all members to contribute their
time, energy and expertise to the group. They also encourage members to acknowledge and appreciate
the efforts of their volunteers.
