"VIRTUAL TELEMETRIX:Selections of the Work of John Bielenberg Design"
2000-07-22 until 2000-10-17

USA United States of America
With the invention of a fictitious company, Virtual Telemetrix,
Inc. (VT), in 1991, John Bielenberg began a series of witty design
projects to create a satirical corporate entity. An annual report,
a product catalogue, a Web site, and, most recently, a case study
for a Las Vegas casino address issues related to the practice of
graphic design and the role of the designer as image-maker in contemporary
culture. The Virtual Telemetrix installation will be the latest
episode in this ongoing corporate saga.
