Throughout October and November, the Institute of Modern Art will take you on a journey of contemporary visual art in Queensland. Told through the dramatically beautiful Black and White photography of Richard Stringer, this is a walk down memory lane that will shock, tickle, mesmerise and captivate gallery patrons.
Presented In conjunction with its silver anniversary, the IMA presents an exhibition built around the extraordinary 25-year commitment of photographer Richard Stringer, who has documented the IMA since its beginnings in 1975. Quo Vadis is 25 years of cutting edge contemporary visual art in Brisbane - local and international artists from the emerging to the senior, working in every conceivable medium and representing every movement from the figurative to the conceptual, from painting to performance, will be present in this must see exhibition.
