"Dialog III: RE:LOCATION Upper Austria - Poland"
2001-04-07 until 2001-07-15
O.K. Center of Contemporary Art
Linz, , AT Austria

Following South Africa (1999) and Lithuania (2000), in 2001 Poland is the focal point for the project series Dialog. Different cultural patterns of experience on the one side, transnational, global criteria of contemporary art production on the other side, form the poles of the point of departure for this project series.

During the spring, a small group of Austrian and Polish artists with very different cultural and geographical backgrounds will collaborate on a dialogical exhibition project, specially developed for the O.K and strongly relating to the spatial structure of the house.

Adam Budak, curator at Bunkier Sztuki in Cracow, who has selected the artists, calls the project RE:LOCATION and stresses the double meaning of the title: RE:LOCATION in relation to the place and the exhibition spaces, but RE:LOCATION also as an exchange of viewpoints and opinions.

Participationg artists include:
Dominik Lejman /PL
Pawel Althamer/PL
Karl-Heinz Klopf/A
Thomas Latzel-Ochoa /A
Andi Strauss /A
