"Marco Maggi: Global Mypoia"
2001-04-13 until 2001-07-08
Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art
Kansas City, MO,
USA
Born in Uruguay and living in New York, Marco Maggi works with the
most prosaic materials, such as aluminum foil and apples, to create
tiny works that seem to speak a secret language. Viewers enjoy
both the workmanship and creativity of these intimate, labor-intensive works.
This is Maggi's first solo museum exhibition in
the United States, and he is an artist in residence.
