Young artists Ricky Swallow and erick Swensen will present a selection of new and recent works in an
exhibition opening at the Museum on the 1 st of August. Ricky Swallow was named one of Australia's most
collectible artists by Australian Art Collector for two consecutive years. Swallow is best known
for his intricate sculptural ensembles, architectural models and dioramas.
From science fiction
to theme parks, Swallow's works draw on popular culture utilising a range of everyday and
recycled materials. Swallow’s work will be presented alongside the sculptures of American
artist Erick Swenson, making this the first in a new series of Level 4 exhibitions that place the
work of Australian artists alongside their international peers.
