The theme of he show is WATER.Water is an appropriate subject for this
locale:the Maturango Museum is in the Mojave Desert. Water plays a role in
each of the artworks,in its various morphologies:
atmosphere,clouds,fog,marshes,rain,ocean.
To the artist,WATER symbolizes transparency,zen,renewal and healing.These
paintings are representational,but not photographic.The artist work deals
with color and strong brushwork and design to convey a sense of the energy of
water and its hypnotic and healing power.
