The Kansas City Jewish Museum announces our Under The Chuppah, exhibition. This exhibition calls for entries of objects used in the Jewish Wedding from artist in all mediums. The artwork, once selected will come together for an exhibit and silent auction for two months in The Gallery at Village Shalom.
The competition is open to all amateur and professional artists. Any medium is eligible, so long as it is original work created by the artist within 12 months of submitting slides. Artist's collaborations are permitted. Slide entries are due in the office of The Kansas City Jewish Museum by January 15th, 2002. Laura Kruger, curator from the Hebrew Union College in New York and Sharyn Brooks Katzman, Art Historian/Educator will be the jurors for this exhibit.
