The New York Independent Art Fair (NYIAF) 2002 promotes established artists who have been out of the gallery circuit for a while, who not only possess excellent selling tract records but also have a strong following of well-to-do collectors. The second edition of the Fair will be held at one of New York's greatest landmarks, THE PLAZA HOTEL, where the atmosphere is first class and regal. NYIAF, the only independent Art Fair worldwide, provides a meeting ground for chosen artists, art dealers, curators and collectors.

The artists were selected by a committee of international curators from prominent collections.
Each artist will have a room on the second floor at the Plaza Hotel to display his/her work.
For the first benefit, in honor of Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center, artists are invited to decorate each benefit table around a New York theme.
Second Benefit: Guernsey's, one of New York's top auction house will auction not only a framed private collection, but works from NYIAF artists.
Part of the proceeds will go directly to the families of the victims of September 11th.
