"Call for Proposals: 2004 Gallery Exhibitions"
2003-04-06 until 2003-05-01
Centre for Contemporary Photography
Fitzroy, VI, AU

CCP is currently calling for proposals for 2004 exhibitions in all its galleries. Proposals to CCP are reviewed each year in May/June for the following years program. The deadline for the next review process is 1 May 2003. CCP promotes photo-based art and its interconnections with wider art practices, life and ideas. Through a range of programs, the Centre encourages audience access to and critical engagement with contemporary photographic culture. CCP exhibits a diverse range of photo-based practices and welcomes proposals from emerging and established artists and curators.

Exhibitions in CCPs four gallery spaces change monthly and feature the work of local, interstate, and international artists. Proposals are considered by selection committees which normally include the CCP Director and Program Manager, a representative from CCPs Board of Management, as well as independent artists and critics. Proposals are limited to one per applicant per year.

Please contact CCP (mailto:info@ccp.org.au) to receive full details of the application process.
