The Solange Rabello Art Gallery keeps on developing its innovative curatorial work in Southern Florida. This time, SRAG brings the exhibition “ART IMPACT” presenting two artists currently living in southern Florida: Carla Fache from Chili and Jackie Gorissen from France.
“ Art Impact ” was handled as a show of two artists in which the oneness, rather than being about the tradition on visual balance, is that of diversity. This is an exhibition based on the thread of the dialogue, the delicacy that composes different vocabularies to define resembling emotions. Together, Carla Fache and Jackie Gorissen bring to the Floridians an intelligent art show, with sensitiveness and high conceptual and technical qualities.
Carla Fache, Chilean from Santiago, is an artist who explores the gestures and colors of her emotions. Her canvases are the exact measure of this adventure on the recognition of her senses, of the pulse of her gaze, feminine and libertarian. As she states: “I like using the color red because it has personality, it catches the human eye and it frees both the imagination and the energy of ones being. I’m no afraid of using red. I love it and it identifies me as a woman.”
Jackie Gorissen, French born from Saint Amand Montrond but an American artist that lives in Florida since 1989. A self-taught painter and visual artist, Jackie incursions in his own imaginary so to produce pieces in which the main motto stands in the texture and movement. His career begins while studying black and white photography at the Corcoran School for the Arts. This intimate liaison with the two utmost mythical colors of the palette of our imaginary still remains.
