"Call for Artists: Still Life - Juried Exhibition"

Artists are invited to submit entries for the “Still Life” juried exhibition appearing March 26-May 16 in the Binney & Smith Gallery of the Banana Factory, 25 W. Third St., Bethlehem, Pa. Still Life is open to any artist residing in the United States. Each artist may submit up to three works with the entry fee of $15, and all entries must be postmarked by Jan. 5. The show is open to all media, except video, and will be juried via 35mm color slides.
Curator for the exhibit is Edwin Havas, who taught at Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. for 36 years. Havas has appeared in many exhibitions during his career and has captured more than 100 awards for his paintings, some of which can be found in the permanent collections of the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, N.J. and New Jersey Historical Society in Newark. He is a member of the American Watercolor Society and past president of the New Jersey Watercolor Society. In addition, he has led many painting workshops throughout the United States and Europe.

The Banana Factory is a nonprofit community arts center and gallery featuring 25 studio artists, community classrooms, a gift shop and more.
