Founded in 1921, the Pacific Art League is a community art center located in downtown Palo Alto, CA. It has two exhibition spaces and offers art classes to both adults and children. The Pacific Art League seeks to promote and encourage artists and to foster support for arts in the community.

Paula Kirkeby is a champion of printmaking. To quote Paula,“The best part of my life is keeping it alive...” and she has been doing just that. For 35 years Paula has supported the printmaker through her Gallerie Smith Anderson. Her state-of-the-art print studio has been used by Nathan Oliveira, Matt Phillips and Frank Lobdell, to name just a few. Paula has been a patron to Bay Area museums and fostered the growth of artists, who often garner national acclaim. She has achieved critical acceptance of innovative print media in museum circles.
