The Richard M. Ross Art Museum is featuring
an exhibition of original oil paintings by local artists.
The exhibit is displayed in The East Gallery of The Richard
M. Ross Art Museum at Ohio Wesleyan and is
entitled “Figuratively Speaking: The Human Figure in
Art.” Ron Anderson is an Ohio oil painter and an art educator. He
teaches commercial art at the Columbus College of Art &
Design and for the Columbus Public Schools and exhibits his
artwork in Ohio and in New York.
Ron Anderson’s art commissions include an original painting
commissioned for the Absolut Spirits 3rd annual art
collection and two portraits housed in the George Washington
Williams Memorial room at the Ohio Statehouse. He is
currently completing six murals for the newly renovated Ohio
Supreme Court building with an anticipated completion date
of March 2005.
