"Women in the Arts 2005: Celebrating the Women International Month"

Through the month of March, the Museum of the Americas hosts Women in the Arts 2005: Celebrating the Women International Month - an exhibition of works by 32 women from 17 countries. The MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAS (MoA) is one of the few art institutions in Florida to foster and promote both established and emerging contemporary artists of every origin. Located in the heart of Miami, MoA serves as a significant cultural arts center for the region and an important resource for artists, educators and the public.
Joyce W. Bailey, one of the 32 women participating in "Women in the Arts 2005" at the Museum of the Americas was awarded "Honorable Mention" by an independent juror for Tunnel of Love, Archive Print, I/I, 24" H X 36" W. The prize for "Honorable Mention" includes a webpage in on the Museum's international ARTISTS REGISTRY for six months.
