A warm summer Tuscan beach lying close to the marble quarries that fueled the genius of Michelangelo. The bold sweep of vermillion canvas; the sun’s rays casting the cool shadow of a triangular wooden frame onto the hot sand beneath. If you can’t get to Europe this summer, Lines in the Sand: The Chairs of Bagno Maria - Photographs by Christina Jorge will transport you there. On view from Sunday, June 4 through Sunday, June 25 at sTudio 6 Gallery.
The painterly photographs of Christina Jorge capture the beauty of the color and design of The Chairs of Bagno Maria – Marina di Pietrasanta in her solo exhibit Lines in the Sand. Jorge was recently featured in the pages of Newsday. Fort Tilden, Gateway National Recreation Center, Rockaway, Queens, NY.
