Maria Elena Kravetz Gallery in Cordoba, Argentina presents two shows in September - "Luis Bernardi: Wood Sculptures" and "Maria Noel Loeschbor: Engravings and Mixed Techniques on Textiles". Maria Noel Loeschbor was born in Cordoba in 1977. She graduated from the National University of Cordoba as a Superior Teacher of Plastic Arts, and in 2001 also graduated as a Master of Arts in Engraving. Luis Bernardi has earned several honors including First Prize XXI International Show of Book, Buenos Aires, Argentine in 1994; First Prize VI Interamerican Competition of Dance (Danzamérica 2001), Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, Argentine, in 2001; and in 2002 First Prize XIX APAC Provincial Exhibition, Córdoba, Argentine.
Maria Noel Loeschbor has presented 7 individual exhibitions, among which we find the series: "Libros de Artista"("Books of an Artist") 2004, "Himno Nacional Argentino" ("Argentine National Anthem") 2003, "Grabados para Ciegos" ("Engravings for the Blind")2001, "La Mar es una Mujer Fecunda" ("The sea is a fecund woman")1998.
Loeschbor has participated in National Exhibition Halls such as: National Hall of Plastic Arts "The Woman and her Cultural Prominence" Buenos Aires Museum of Fine Arts, year 2000, Hall of Austere Art , El Cid Art Gallery, year 1998.
Loeschbor has participated in 20 collective exhibitions, such as: "Three Nations Miniprint Exhibition" Engraving Exchange between Argentina – Great Britain - Australia year 2000, "Córdoba x 13" ("Cordoba by 13") Recoleta Cultural Centre year 2001, "InvolucrARTE I" (Art Involving I) Provincial Museum of Fine Arts Genaro Pérez year 2003, "Gráfica x 8" ("Graphics by 8") Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the National University of Rosario, year 2003, among others.
