"Perspectives on Love: Work by 50 Male Japanese Artists"
2007-10-25 until 2007-11-07
Collingwood Gallery
Melbourne, ,
AU Australia
Mayumi International, an Australian art promotion company, introduces the work of Japanese artists in one of the greatest art / culture cities in Melbourne, Australia. We express a focus to substantiality of the work themed “Love” by the 50 Japanese male artists. This exhibition visualizes “Love” by each artist’s free idea, and expression of the feelings of Love for human beings, animals, hometowns, and things. We consider “Love” flexibly without thinking about it too firmly. It is the extended picture that artists draw conventionally. INcluded in the exhibition is Hidesawa Sudo who has promoted his work with an Artist Portfolio at absolutearts.com since 2002.
Here is a short example of a profile of Hidesawa Sudo: one of the 50 Japanese male artists.
Hidesawa Sudo’s Profile: Born in 1973. Fine art photographer from Osaka, Japan. Attended a workshop by Magnum Photos and inspired by Chris Steele Perkins. Initially he worked as a professional photographer of sports in Tokyo. He has exhibited over the past years in Japan, Korea, Germany, Romania and the UK. The images are a document of his travels to remote places, beginning with his doorsteps in Osaka. In order to create passionate images he used only natural daylight to capture the people, cityscapes and landscapes the he encountered whilst traveling. He is a member of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain and the Canadian Association for Photographic Art.
