"Elusive Perspectives: Paintings and assemblages by Micha Nussinov", is showing from 21 November to 15 December at the Nussinov Gallery in Sydney, Australia. Perspective lines lead the way to a meeting place, converging and
branching to take us to other places. In his current exhibition ‘Elusive
Perspectives’ Micha Nussinov’s works of painting and assemblage explore
themes in human habitations within urban environments, in nature and
within the imaginary realms. Micha Nussinov has been a Premiere Portfolio Member at absolutearts.com since 2003.
The density of matter and its fluidity, plays a key role in Nussinov’s
techniques. Thin or thick; under /over; as layers of sceneries are built
on top of each other, with lines drawn from different perspectives.
Structured and/ or obstructed, pushed back or brought forward, the
subject matter and its relative positioning within a fantasy world is in
a state of flux, elusive and open to interpretation. As the viewer, you
become a detective or voyeur, spying into the inner world of the
subject, moving from detail to detail, restless until finding the clue,
any clue. As images are added up to a sequence, a new perspective is formed.
