Casa de Luna Gallery and Fotopremier are honored to present young Mexican photographer, Andrea Lopez exposition, and her exposition titled Retrospective 1998- 2008, to be inaugurated on February 20, 2008. Exhibition consists of 40 photographs that travel through a period described by the photographer as a long trip of encounters with great heroes and stories, they celebrate 10 years photographing the stage world creating an new stage and photographic art language that has obtained national and worldwide recognition both in the arts, and the scenic arts. Andrea Lopez has been a Portfolio artist at absolutearts.com since 2006.
And today I am here, only observing that secrets have become magical,
that the invisible has left, that everything that memory has lost is still here…
How many heroes and poems have gone by, how many unpredictable feelings have stayed
floating on the color.
Ephemeral all this, unrepeatable to the memory, but not to the sight.
Vulnerable is the soul before the utopias that uselessly try to hide.
