Greetings!

Members of the Houston art community are in the process of raising funds to cover the costs of production for a new publication about the art and life of Bert L. Long, Jr.  The fundraiser will consist of a Fine Art Lottery and a chili cook-off with refreshments and music by special guest D.J. Tierney Malone.

All proceeds will be directed to Houston Artists Fund a non-profit organization, which has already commissioned a 20,000-word essay about Bert from Thomas McEvilly that will anchor the book.  The funds raised will be used for photography, design, and printing of the book.
