KENOSHA,
WI – Join National Watercolor Society member Joe Fettingis for the
three-day “Mixing Colors Without Guessing” workshop from 9:30
a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday, November 15 – Saturday, November 17 at the
Kenosha Public Museum.
During
this must-know workshop, Fettingis focuses on controlling moisture,
mixing colors to achieve vibrant hues, looking at values and how they
work with colors. Learn the proper way to use your brush to get
smooth passages in a dry or wet area. There are 5-6 demos each day,
and each student will be given a project to work on to create a
painting.
Fettingis
is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and has been
published in American
Artist, Palette Talk and
International Artist
magazines. He has been featured in art books as well as many
newspaper articles throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. He
regularly lectures, demonstrates and conducts workshops nationally
and in Canada.
The
cost of the workshop is $180 or $155 for Friends of the Museums.
