The fans have spoken! After 3 years of sold-out shows, Galapagos proudly welcomes Running Late with Scott Rogowsky for its 3rd season premiere.
Drawing on the late-night tradition from Carson to Cavett to Conan, host Scott Rogowsky and his sidekick/dad Marty welcome an eclectic mix of comedians, bands, and local celebs to Galapagos for a unique live talk show experience that needs to be experienced to be experienced. After a string of sold-out shows at the Peoples Improv Theater in Manhattan, Running Late with Scott Rogowsky makes its Brooklyn debut Thursday, January 31 at 8pm with featured guests RACHEL DRATCH, ALEX KARPOVSKY, KEN ROSENTHAL, and more. There will be plenty of bits, skits, chits and chats, and maybe even that pretty girl you saw on the F train last night, who knows?
RACHEL DRATCH is best known for her hilarious characters as a seven-year cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1999-2006 and her various TV appearances on shows such as 30 Rock, King of Queens, Third Watch, Monk, and Frasier. Her side-splitting memoir Girl Walks Into a Bar... was published by Penguin in March (paperback to be released in February).
ALEX KARPOVSKY is a writer/director/actor/editor currently playing the role of Ray Ploshansky in HBO's Girls, which begins its second season Jan. 13, and scheduled to appear in the upcoming Coen Brothers' film Inside Llewyn Davis. He also wrote and directed two films releasing in February, Red Flag and Rubberneck, and starred in the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival selection Supporting Characters.
REGGIE WATTS (Conan, Bang! Bang!) is a hilarious, brilliant, unpredictable - comedian/musician Reggie Watts is a staple of the international performance scene.
KEN ROSENTHAL is an award-winning sportswriter and reporter for FOX and MLB Network with over 25 years in the business and over 300,000 Twitter followers to his name. He has earned a well-deserved reputation as the go-to guy for breaking baseball news and analysis, as well as for his bowties which can be seen every Saturday on FOX's Game of the Week broadcasts.
