ArtLab: On the Move!
2.16.13 | Saturday | 1-4pm
Assemble + the LAB
5129 Penn Avenue
Free
We are visiting our friends at Assemble + the LAB (Literary Arts Boom) at 5125 Penn Avenue for ArtLab. Literary Arts Boom [The LAB] is an explosively fun creative writing laboratory in Garfield that offers free out-of-school programming to Pittsburgh youth, ages 6-18. We’ll be sharing a little slice of the Mattress Factory with our fellow creative types in Garfield. Create your own installation box and imagine what it might be like to be an artist at the Mattress Factory. Twice a month, on the first and third Saturdays, visitors are invited to participate in a range of art-making activities that illuminate the creative process of in-residence artists. |
