Call for Images of Lower Manhattan from
1973–2013
2013 is LMCC's 40th Anniversary and we'd love your help collecting images of Lower Manhattan and artistic activity in the area for use throughout the year. Please share your images of Lower Manhattan from the past 40 years with
press@lmcc.net and include any photo credits necessary.

LMCC is pleased to announce the support of 1000+ individual artists and 550+ arts groups by providing financial resources, professional and creative development, and space during our 40th Anniversary Year.

Last Chance to Register for Basic Finance for Artists

Basic Finance for Artists (BFA), LMCC's free, six-week intensive personal finance seminar is back this spring. Registration closes today, March 5, 2013 at 11:59PM!
Designed especially for artists, BFA helps individual artists develop financial awareness and balance through practical training in budgeting, cash flow, taxes, credit, savings, investments, and financial planning. Meeting weekly from
April 16–May 21, artists will gain a better understanding of their finances to make more informed decisions.
The seminar is free, but space is limited and registration is required.

Paris Residency 2014 Open Call for Applications
Application deadline: Monday, April, 1, 2013, 5PM
LMCC has released its open call for the Paris Residency. LMCC is proud to partner with the Mayor's Office of the City of Paris (Mairie de Paris), to provide New York City artists with the opportunity to live and work at Cité
Internationale des Arts in Paris, France for six consecutive months. The Application Guidelines and Online Application Form are available

Creative Curricula Grants for Fall 2013 Projects
Application Deadline: Tuesday, April 9, 2013, 5PM
Creative Curricula is a grant program that supports Manhattan-based teaching artists and arts organizations working in partnership with Manhattan public schools to offer arts education projects in the K-12 classroom. LMCC is offering a
second 2013 grant cycle this spring to support projects taking place within the 2013 Fall Semester.

Marketing and Communications for Artists
Marketing and Communications for Artists is a series of three-part workshop series that offers practical knowledge for artists and small arts organizations who wish to develop improved communication strategies and expand and deepen their
relationship to audiences. Covered topics include: effective website strategies, social media, and press and media relations. The series begins on Wednesday, March 20.
This workshop series is at capacity.

LMCC Internship 2013 Summer Cycle

We're accepting applications for our internship program for Summer 2013! Interns apply for a specific focus, and will gain exposure to all departments from May to August. We encourage applicants who are aiming to work in non-profits and
