Museum of Nebraska Art Announces
The Museum of Nebraska Art announces the upcoming Sounds of Summer Concert Series.
Enjoy the Sounds of Summer in MONA's lovely Cliff Hillegass Sculpture Garden, a perfect setting for a summer's evening. Sponsored by the MONA Guild, gates open at 6:00 p.m.; tables and chairs are provided for self-catered picnics. The live music begins at 7:00 and continues until 9:00. Admission is free, however donations are appreciated during intermission's "pass the hat."
This season's featured bands are:
May 23 - Tunafish Jones Trio
Smooth and Easy, Groove and Rock
June 20 - Yikes
Classic Rock, Jazz and Country Pop
July 18 - Bases Loaded
Classic Rock and Cool Country
Guests may reserve a table for 10 people for all three Sounds of Summer concerts for $500 or reserve a table for a single concert for $150.
- $500 sponsors receive a table for 10 for all three concerts with decorations and desserts, and are acknowledged in promotional materials.
- $150 sponsors receive a table for 10 for the concert of your choice.
