Loops and Squiggles
Can't kick the urge to doodle? You're in good company. Several upcoming workshops take advantage of the meditative loops and squiggles of doodling - but combine them with technical know-how and they resolve into something sublime.

Wilmington Welcomes Craftsmen for 7th Year
Our 7th annual craft fair at the Chase Center on the Riverfront was an exquisite one. Beautiful craft was welcomed by discerning patrons. Thank you to the craftsmen for filling the rooms with your delicate designs and thoughtful curiousity, and thank you to the visitors who value their one-of-a-kind creations so highly. Comments from patrons and craftsmen both focused on the variety of work on display and the high quality of craftsmanship present.
We continued to recognize the excellence and talent of our exhibitors with the Benchmark Awards program. Angela Shope won the award for Resolved Design, Marcia Reiver won the award for for Unique Vision, and Tim and Sharon Carey won the award for Excellence in Craftsmanship. Congratulations!
Our next Fine Craft Fair will be in the midst of fall splendor in Rittenhouse Square, October 11, 12, & 13. We'll see you there for another exciting weekend.

Recognize this room?
Wait, let's take a look at what it used to be:
The old kitchen is almost ready! We've got ventilation for the soldering stations, better windows and light, and those boxes hold the workbenches just waiting to be assembled (if you feel inspired to lend a hand on putting them together - call or email us!).
We're still looking for equipment of course (our wishlist is here, maybe you can help!), but we're planning classes in the space and looking forward to filling it with students this fall for classes like:
Stop by the see the space, lend a hand, contact us if you have equipment you'd be willing to donate! And thanks to those who have been calling, volunteering, and helping make the place awesome!

Corrections
In the last email, we incorrectly attributed several images in our first article. The mugs were by Angela Shope, and the jewelry was by Helen Hosking.
