Artists Describing Their Art:

Eileen Seitz - I was born and raised on the Island of Manhattan, NYC. My spirit learned early about the concrete jungle with its melting pot of cultures and the grand variety of NYC's architecture . It was at the age of 16 that I first traveled to the tropical green jungles OF THE Caribbean. I saw the turquoise seas, the foliage, the flowers when i felt the truth and beauty there overwhelming while inspiring me. Seeing the flow of nature with its colors and harmonies,I feel to bring to life both on paper and canvas. My true joy, comes from two things, the acutal art of painting of letting the spirit speak through my brush, and seeing that spirit reborn in the faces and hearts of the people who come to share my anonymous gift....

Aisha Haider - Welcome to my gallery. I was born in Lancashire in England. I am a self taught artist and have been painting ever since I can remember. I paint in acrylics because of its versatility. Painting has always been a strong part of my life and it is who I am. Painting is an unquechable addiction that I get immense pleasure out of. I paint in an impressionistic style using a little bit of inspiration that comes from nature whilst adding my own elements too. My painting are mostly vibrant and modern. My favourite subjects are umbrellas, reflections and trees. I am very fortunate to have sold over 500 paintings in the Uk and 5 other countries. I hope you enjoy looking at my work and find something to your taste. aEURoeAs music is the poetry of sound, so is painting the poetry of sightaEUR James McNeil Whistler...

Jerry Di Falco - Statement from December 11, 2017 Photography inspires my hand-pulled etchings and also serves as a key element in my art. My imagery originates from my own photographs and those of other artists. I research my subjects in the archives of universities, historical societies, libraries, museums, and foundations. I attempt to balance visual gravity with the narrations within everyday scenes . . . I hope to create a convergence between the metaphysical and physical aspects of space, time, and reflection. My examination of the familiar strives to unveil the splendors of life that are masked by our assumptions My stories emerge from beneath the surfaces of that which we overlook as a result of our neglected perceptions . . . of that which is frequently visible but overlooked. Ironically enough, I blame this inability to see reality . . . or what I call, the phenomenology of connectedness . . . on todays infatuation with and addiction to the new technologies of communication. I see my artworks as windows through which people can see the undiscovered mysteries of human consciousness. In fact, my use of multiple etching plates to create one etched design helps to reinforce the illusion of looking at a scene through a window. Each individual area created in my ...

Kateryna Bortsova - I think that art means confrontation between life and aesthetics. It is a hard struggle for both of them. Ant the understanding of art is one of the main artistaEURtms working specialties. In the modern multipolar and multinational world art and art objects got dissolved in the routine human life. After Marcel Duchamp created a aEUR~readymadeaEURtm art in the 1940s we may be sure that we may find art objects around us without any force. But in order to make an art object of a simple spoon or staple there shall be need a creator aEUR" a man with endless fantasy, who sees not a dirt but a star in a pool, as Immanuel Kant said. Any person may get technical skills and practice of creating a picture by means of hard work. But not everyone may fill their work with philosophic sense, with such images which would enchant audience for ages. Now the only factor of art modernity is that it is present in art galleries and in the Internet. ...

Benjamin Bauer - Hello Everyone, Im Ben, great caring guy who enjoys expressing myself through art, and creativity. I am romantic, loving, caring heart, and family oriented. I am driven to success, and to push through life with many mistakes that knowing everyday I can get myself better. I love exploring, traveling, learning new things, trying new foods, and getting to know new people. My past was a dark one, I delt with depression most of my life, today, Im a survivor to childhood sexual molestation and I push myself to gain trust, and acceptance in myself. I dont judge others by their looks, a lot of friends call me laid back, and funny at times. I love to smile through the bad times, and cheering up others who are going through a lot is my passion. I express myself deeply, and I was taught that honesty is key in life, without honesty, there is no life, nor relationships. I gain a lot of motivation through who I am and I have a lot of support through friendships, and family. ...

Jonathan Talks - I am a professional visual artist based in Nottingham where I have been living since 2016. My work primarily focuses on nature, the environment and the human condition. Visually my work is conscious of fine art printmaking using often abandoned techniques as a way of asking the viewer to look closer. Recently, I have found using multiple exposures as a way of enhancing the single image, creating movement and encouraging the viewer to look in different ways. Having gained a Masters degree from St Martins College in 2003 I worked for Kodak until they went bankrupt in 2013. Since then I have travelled the world before starting my career as an artist in 2017....

Erik Brede - Producing a link between the landscapeaEURtms reality and that imagined by its conceiver is what BredeaEURtms artwork focuses on. Influenced by renowned artist like Ansel Adams and Rene Magritte, Brede creates surreal and fine digital artwork . Brede follows a conceptual approach thus utilizing a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered manner. His work focuses on concrete questions that determine our existence. Erik Brede is a photographer and Photoshop artist, born in 1971 in Svolvaer, Lofoten Islands, Norway. His photography journey started at the age of 11 when his father introduced him to the great magic of film development and post-production in his low budget darkroom. Even if the old analog darkroom is replaced by Photoshop and Lightroom, his vision and craetive ideas are the same. With a conceptual approach, Brede tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way to produce a link between the landscapeaEURtms reality and that imagined by its conceiver. These works focus on concrete questions that determine our existence. His work have been sold to television company, record industries and collectors all over the world, and published in books like aEUR~The Best of Photography 2014aEURtm, aEUR~The ...

Robert Reinhardt - Artist Statement My camera lens explores the inspiring and sensitive interconnections between the temporal elements of time and history and their relationship to the changing environment. Several photographic software programs are employed to recreate the original landscape photograph to manipulate the original design of these images. It is the careful observer that begins to discover the delicate objects and surfaces that lie hidden amidst the many layers of images all packaged into one final piece. My intention is to subject the original images to the ravages of time. The rich patinas and the weather worn surfaces magnetically draw me in as I return each image. The images that I chose to include document a specific theme of aEURoeEnd of DaysaEUR. The newly constructed images bring to life a strength that lives on in these landscapes. They seem almost indifferent to the elements that continue to wear at their surfaces and challenge their structural integrity. At the same time, nature is painting an entirely new palette in which they will exist. It is the collision and contrast of that ongoing confrontation that draws me into these landscapes.
