Dimitri Lazaroff - Like most artists, I work with non-verbal medium - drawing, painting, sculpture etc. - that attempt to convey things which cannot be even remotely described in words. Marie Weaver - In part because of my academic background I work in various mediums, but I focus primarily on ceramics. Im drawn to the physicality of natural materials and the process-oriented nature of clay. I respond to the creative and observational challenge of drawing in space as well as on the surfaces, the intellectual engagement of meeting technical and conceptual challenges that are as engaging as a puzzle, and the hazard of chance introduced both by the materials, the firing process, and ongoing inspiration. Vulnerability, protection, and strength are central concepts in my figurative work. Although a particular current event or passing interest may capture my attention and result in a piece, I have an ongoing concern with threats to our planet. ...
Roberto Rossi - Roberto Rossi is a self-taught art worker. Born in the city of Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo State, Brazil, he has been working in the advertising field for 29 years. Art has been present since this artist's early ages, when he has great opportunities to closely watch the activities related to graphic arts that, in the future, would be extremely important for its professional career. Roberto Rossi begins his professional life in 1971, working as reviser for the most reputable juridical book publishing company at the time. In 1976 he is invited to work as copy reviser for the most important advertising agency of the country, where he would stay until 1988. At the same time, he contributes with his professional abilities for Brazilian literature, participating in projects involving very important private editions, some of them dedicated to art and Brazilian colonial furniture. His writer friends look for him when editing their books, in which he helps with copy desk, review, production and creative work in graphical projects. All this background has taken Roberto Rossi to know and search for learning, in details, the daily activities of photographic techniques, both studio and lab tasks, besides art studio, ...
Wanda Torres - Wanda Torres was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She majored in painting and illustration at the Columbus College of Art & Design, in Ohio. Wanda has been an art teacher, freelance illustrator and exhibiting artist. After receiving the Alfonso Arana Foundation grant for a artist residency in Paris, she established her studio in that city. Her work can be found in private and public collections in Puerto Rico, Europe and the USA. ...

Yuming Zhu - I land my brush with the force of a giant rock splashing into the ocean. I am not looking for a beautiful painting, but to express Life itself. Painting is just like a stacking of passions. Painting is a method of striping myself naked and facing the truth of my inner emotion. I invite the viewer to experience through my paintings the joy of being alive right at this moment. I believe I can do lots of things, but painting and poetry are the best beloved channels to express my complicated emotions. Originally from Shanghai, Yuming began studying under the masters at a young age. After his BA from China, Yuming came to the States and graduated from Sonoma State University with his MA in 1991. Working in oils, pastels and ChineseSumi Watercolors, Yumings work is a unique blend of East meets West artistry. It is a style that Yuming refers to as Transism, in reference to the constantly evolving interests, which include observations on modern life, a love of music, and an exploration of his own unique heritage. I paint to achieve balance and harmony.
