  • Artists Describing Their Art:

Marilyn Nosewicz - Photography, and Painting are like Magic, Joy , My Birthday, and Christmas all wrapped into one good feeling. I wait for my image to appear in my darkroom, the world stops for that time. I truely live in the moment. Finally I see my images appear before my eyes like magic. I work in Photography Silver Gelatin Black and White primarily and Color Photography. My Painting degree is from Syracuse University. My Silver Gelatin Black and White Photography work is hand printed in the darkroom. I also work in Color Photography, and now also Digital. All my materials are archival. All work is signed and dated. Please Sign my mailing list, or my Guest book, I would like to hear from you. Thank you for looking at my work. ...

Ivan Kosta - My mission? To give some resemblance of our lives, to touch our fears, concerns, evoke dreams and give hope in time of dispair... ...

C.c. Opiela - The art of C.C Opiela is bold, dramatic, sensual and cabalistic. This is an artist leaping beyond the conventions of a known reality and beckoning the viewer to follow her to enter the landscaped of infinity. With an open ended vision she peers into reality and beyond which is seen. Her paintings are the records her mystical journeys of bright colors, light, and textures. The dance into the mysteries of life and the glimpses in the secret delight is served deliciously by her unique, creative and expansive vision. Working with experimental, mixed water-media on paper and canvas, the canvas, the artist creates her expressions of an abstract world. ...

Will Kellermann - Willemine Kellermann, who autographs her paintings with Will Kellermann or WK for short, has been active as a professional artist for more than 30 years. Her work differentiates itself from others due to its adventure-like style and technique; she commands the subject and uses her materials as she sees fit. Most well-known are her'silkcolors', which are flowing paintings on silk giving an extra dimension in the way the light falls on them. In her oils, watercolours and pastels, she also demonstrates her strength in use of colour, never hard or cool, but rather vivid and full of warmth. Connoisseurs and critics often make comparisons with the great impressionists of the past, particularly her landscapes in oil or her intensive pastels of models. Will Kellermann senses forms and colours as a pleasure in life and knows how to convey this in her paintings. A painting made by Will Kellemann uplifts your mood and is gratifying for your soul. This is why such a painting will never bore you; it provides access to a romantic adventure that takes the viewer to a world of one's most beautiful dreams. Kellermann paitings hang everywhere from New York (Los Angeles) to ...

Laurie Pagels - "I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do" -- Leonardo DaVinci Today must not be a souvenir of yesterday, and so the struggle is everlasting. Who am I today? What do I see today? How shall I use what I know, and how shall I avoid being victim of what I know? Life is not repetition. (Robert Henri)...

Laurie Pagels - Carol Brown - My love of art and passion for life has driven me to express myself artistically ever since I was a small child. I love the beauty around me. I see objects that create designs, lines that continually flow from one object to the next, textures, colors, contrasting shades and interesting shapes. Fabric has so many of these qualities that the idea of seeking out and working with fabric has become a full time adventure. For each picture the fabrics is chosen based on how well it fits my vision and mood of the picture. This process of overlaying, cutting, and placing the fabric is known as free style applique or fabric collage. Using these techniques and machine stitching, I am able to create a picture that has the feeling of a painting....

Barbara Calascibetta Di S. Nicoḷ E Calascibetta - c.v. Barbara Calascibetta di San Nicolo e Calascibetta is a noble sicilian painter born in Syracuse (Sicily). Subhadeep Bandyopadhyay - Welcome to SUBHADEEP'S ART ENCLAVE! As you venture through it, I hope you find joy and wish to spend considerable time in the abode of my art. "WHILE EVERYTHING GOES FOR TRANSITION EYES THAT RESTED ON BEAUTY OF TRUE ART RATHER THAN THE ART ITSELF LASTS FOREVER!"...

Nora Cervino - Intuition, plays an important role in my creative process. My paintings, mosaics, drawings and photographs are direct representations of a journey that begins as a meditative process. Without a predetermined plan, the forms, colors, lines and themes in my imagery are developed. My work honours spontaneity and the essence of the magic I experience while I manipulate the materials I work with. The work is of a narrative nature, attempting to convey past and present personal experiences. Bold colors, lines, forms and themes are juxtaposed to create a melange of disparate elements harmoniously working together like life itself. By working in this intuitive manner, my work also attempts to provoke audiences to value and welcome the importance of subconscious thought and the relevance that it has on day to day living....

Laurie Ihlenfield - As an artist I find fascination in even the most ordinary things. I enjoy studying the complexity that light can lend to a grouping of objects. Dappled light shining through the back of leaves, or illuminating a group of reflective objects, or creating shadows in the bark of a tree creates complex patterns. The addition of light evokes mood. I am interested in portraying mood through close up views of objects and scenes. I sometimes am interested in inferring deeper meaning. At other times, I prefer to let the image speak for itself. It is my hope the viewer will find in my painting the feeling the original image stirred in me. ...
