Artists Describing Their Art:
Simon Brown - My major passion is sculpting abstract designs of human form, emotion and interaction. I love focusing on producing balanced lines, proportion and flow that undulate across the canvas. Mixing media adds life and emphasis to every story. Thus I always experiment with varying techniques and mediums to enhance the impact of my work. Khalil Dadah - My artwork is ment to reflect the trajedies of mankind . It's the safest way of expressing onself , in a world flooding with oppressors , fanatics and opportunists. Besides all that, exaggeration and deviation is the standard and results in a typical use of a strong colour scheme and a hugh tonal bandwith, in order to create art that, when the canvas or paper would be torn into pieces, in essence still would be recognizable. ...
Ben Adedipe - I enjoy working with colour. The natural landscape, and in particular, complex subject matter like water, trees and rocks, provide infinite opportunities for me to capture colours, patterns and textures in paint. Each painting represents a different interpretation of reality, subject to the prevailing mood and energy of the moment. Paint allows me to intensify colours to emphasize elements that I find interesting.
