Artists Describing Their Art:

Indrani Ghosh - Texture, dimension, color, and good design are the basis for my work. I am inspired by nature, travel, colors of Nature, Architecture, City and Villages. I work on expressionistic acrylic paintings and impressionistic oil paintings. They are often explosive with color, depth, and texture. While light and architecture play an important part in how I create a sense of place, I also use color and texture as a way to provoke strong emotions. I hope a viewer of my paintings can connect, discover, explore, and take on a journey....

James Bones - I studied fine art at huddersfield art school and london university.l have had a number of shows in london and cambridge, where l live. I paint city scenes, london and cambridge, and river and boating scenes. I also paint still life. My painting is in oil and acrylic.lt is interested in traditional subjects , colour and composition. Painters who have influenced me are velaquez, and post impressionist painters in europe and britain....

Isabella Mccartney - The sea romantically enchants me. I feel a deep and intimate connection to its vast expanse and to its awe-inspiring strength. This in turn is my peace and serenity. Each painting or sketch is an original creation of places I have frequented or of snapshots I have recorded. My goal in creating my work is to replicate each magical moment as realistically as I can. When gazing upon one of my paintings I am drawn into each one as if I were ever present for a recurrent visit in time. I lose myself in my paintings as they evolve. For my very existence lies...
