The full title is, Donald Quack And The Responsibility of Gold.
This one of a kind work incorporates a canvas stretched on wood frame, gesso, modeling paste, acrylic paint, 24 gold-karat thread, and a duck’s skull found on a Newfoundland beach. One of my works from the “VIRAL SERIES” the work is also a part of a multiple canvas installation called “RELICS”. I began creating RELICS in 1996. The environmental installation, RELICS, has been exhibited in three venues. The exhibition spaces in the US include: The DaVinci Art Alliance Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1996 and in 2007 The Delaware Center For Contemporary Art Wilmington, Delaware in 2005 and The Institute of Contemporary Art Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2009. Price includes the artwork, Certificate of Authenticity, packing materials, handling, and shipment carton.
