Artwork Description:

World Peace Conference is an abstract assemblage on board work. Objects which include beads, leather purse, plastic and tin covers cases, among others, were arranged and glued on board in an oval rectangular conference format to create an illusion of a United Nations congress in progress. Oil colours were employed to add life as well as symbolic and aesthetics relevance to the work. The two major religions Christianity and Islam as well as traditional religions traditional motifs and forms were in attendance. It is an abstract composition on world peace. Whether from a sociopolitical, socio-religious or sociocultural perspective, peace must reign in the world. It is a symbolic campaign for global peace because war in any form is often times destructive and evil.
