Artwork Description:

Ocean Wind The ocean and the wind wind begin their slow, swirling dance, becoming faster and faster as they spin and leap and throw the other farther and farther to climb and jump from the rocky cliffs. Glazed ceramic and glass sculpture, hand-built by a native Sonoma County California artist. She grew up on the northern California coast exploring the rocky beaches, cliffs and tide pools as her skin-diver father harvested abalone and spear-hunted bottom fish. This is a sculptural piece and is not food-safe, due to intentional minute cracks in the glass.
