Kenneth Coleman - I don't have much of an artist's statement. Mostly I construct, or try to construct pictures. I react to, and interact with, various materials, colors, images, textures, marks. Everything I see, smell, taste and touch informs everything that comes after. Inspiration is trumped by work over time and lots of trial-and-error. Although I have chosen a very specific and limited theme, there is no political or social statement intended. I try to make the pictures interesting or entertaining ("entertaining" is that artistic blasphemy?) for myself and maybe for a few others. Occasionally I succeed, often I fail. I keep at it. ...
Maria Klimek - My painting is an emotional mirror of my person which animates my plastic works. My art is a trigger of sensations and feelings that are intended to propose s universal language. In my creation I look for the harmony. Led by the graphics and colours, joy and freshness, I opt for geometrical forms. In my work, I am looking for a simple and well-balanced aesthetics allowing each of them to escape through a uniqueness and originality. The diverse materials, resin, papers, mats, the brightest, overlays, colours, tears are elements which, as strokes make exaggerated sign of my painting. I use a small palette of colours and besides paintings of buildings, products of the pharmaceutical industry, varnishes, lacures, inks and colours based on water. With all this I get some surprising encounters which facilitate the hatching of a work In other words, my research will be fruitful if the final receiver of my works is your glance....

Mary Zeman - Over 14 years ago, I began to paint after I had brain surgery to remove a benign brain tumor from the right side of my brain. I was recovering from surgery, and out of the blue, I called my mom and asked her to take me to buy some paint and brushes. This was the first time I ever painted in my life. While I was growing up, I was never exposed to art and just didni?1/2t know anything about it, though I had always wanted to learn more. I began painting on wood, paper, newspaper, anything I could find, then I started to paint on canvas. When I went back to my job in television, people looked at my art on the walls of my cubicle, and some people encouraged me to go further with it. I would work all day, then come home and paint at night, and looked forward to the time I would be painting. In October of 2000, I decided to leave my job and make a go of being a full-time artist. Everyday, I learn something new about art, and I love making art. The biggest compliment I can get is when ...
Elena Mary Siff - In the collages and assemblages I interpret the mystery, the humor and the threat of my dreams. By collecting and juxaposing bits of disparate material, I create my own order. The souvenirs of my travels have been a constant source of inspiration. I am fascinated with very small imagery and a great variety of materials and textures. All of this work is a form of narration, as I consider myself primarily a storyteller. "Everything can be used, but of course one doesn't know it at the time. How does one know what a certain object will tell another/" Joseph Cornell That unpredictable dialogue is the basis of my method and my faith. Elena Mary Siff ...
