Artwork Description:   This is a digitally painted work. It was one of those that ended up quite different from where it started. My first idea was to create a work based on a figure based on Salome, however it was impossible to ignore that Salome was not very nice. So I decide to focus on what happens when a woman puts on a veil. Does a veil create a transformation. A veil has several different meanings, most of them we would rather not dwell on ….. except of course a wedding veil. …….. That is as long as we don’t look too closely at the symbolism that a wedding veil represents. This work is issued as a single original full size photo print. The size is 30” x 45” and it is printed on smooth aluminum. The work is finished with a surface covering of 1 2” thick sheet of clear, non - reflective premium acrylic over the metal. It is hung with 4 Stainless Steel Mounting Posts at each corner. The mounting posts screw into the wall so that the work is held 1 “ off from the wall. It is shipped in a wooden crate with all the necessary mounting hardware attached. SHIPPING: Because of the production time needed for completing the printing and framing, the work will be shipped in 7-10 days after the order is received. An email with tracking information is sent to inform the buyer when the work has been shipped.
