Artwork Description:
Asbjorn Lonvig's words: La Madeleine's design is obviously inspired by the Roman Pantheon of which I have made several motifs.
The Roman Pantheon is on my favorite Roman square - Piazza della Rotonda.
I love to be at Piazza della Rotonda when the sun is setting, when the lights are put on.
Then lots of People pass by.
It seams like every Roman pedestrian passes by Piazza della Rotonda.
From Piazza Navona.
To the Spanish Stairs.
From The Trevi Fountaine.
To the Roman Forum.
The atmosphere is magnificent.
