Enaile D. Siffert - Most of my inspiration comes from nature, literature, movies, music, mythology and folklore. My artwork goes from stylized to realistic and from fantasy to classic themes. I work with several mediuns: oil on canvas, graphite, soft pastels, pen and ink, watercolors, colored pencils, etc.
Zoraida Haibi Figuera - Zoraida Haibi Artist Statement My work is a diary or narrative of the relationships that I have with family and people closest to me. There are different components of each individual represented in the works. Use of collage and mix media, allows me to be able to put fragments of each personi?1/2s character in my artwork. Each painting is cultivated through methods of collecting memoirs and stitching them together creating a quilt of memories. Through use of vibrant colors, expressive brushstorkes, cuts in the canvases, sewing surfaces and collage, I am able to convey a medley of these visions. The awkwardness of some of my canvases reflects the indifference for traditional values that is characteristic in the Latin culture and break from the customary size and shape of the canvas. ...

Kenneth Coleman - I don't have much of an artist's statement. Mostly I construct, or try to construct pictures. I react to, and interact with, various materials, colors, images, textures, marks. Everything I see, smell, taste and touch informs everything that comes after. Inspiration is trumped by work over time and lots of trial-and-error. Although I have chosen a very specific and limited theme, there is no political or social statement intended. I try to make the pictures interesting or entertaining ("entertaining" is that artistic blasphemy?) for myself and maybe for a few others. Occasionally I succeed, often I fail. I keep at it. ...
Carol Donahue - Kalathil - I studied Computer Graphics, and Fine Art at Tompkins Cortland Community College 2000, then transfered to the State University of New York at Cortland College to study Fine Arts 2002. While attending Cortland College I concentrated on a new medium, ceramics. For the first time in my life I discovered the wonderful tactile world of clay. Most of my hand built projects were envisioned in my mind's eye, and then communicated through my hands. The clay spoke to me, each time I put my hand into the clay, the creative forces with in me took over. I am an Illustrator, and paint in watercolor, acrylics, and oil. I also am involved in Computer Graphics and design with my partner, who is a web designer. I enjoy creating and feel that art is the true way to communicate emotions and the driving force of life it self. 2006-2007 currently studying at The Armory Art Center West Palm Beach Florida. Involved in Hand Sculpted Ceramics, and Painting the Figure. Sincerely, Carol Donahue-Kalathil ...
