The car images are sandblasted (engraved) into the glass in the frame, this enables shadows to be cast onti the roadscape drawing beneath. As you move and as the lighting changes throughout the day new apects emerge. These cars represent moments in time or events that leave a residue and impact the way we view life afterwards, hence the sandblasted cars alter the otherwise clear view of the road. Ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal on paper with image sandblasted on glass (framed).
